Privacy Statement of the NORM (UX) studio

At NORM, we believe in a digitally inclusive world. This means that we not only handle website accessibility with care, but also your privacy. In this Privacy Statement, we explain which personal data we collect when you visit our website ( www.de-norm-studio.nl) , and how we handle your personal data.

What data do we collect and why?

To distribute our newsletter, they collect your name and email address. When sending emails via Brevo, web beacons are included. These web beacons track whether the email has been opened and whether a visit to the website takes place. This data is used to collect analytical data. It is possible to unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time if it is no longer desired. The contact list for this newsletter is not shared with third parties.

The client is entitled to the research results at all times; these will be provided in anonymized form. If NORM wishes to use a video clip, explicit permission will always be requested in the consent form.

We use software to do our work (such as Lookback or Figma). These parties store meta within the European Union (EU), or under strict international privacy treaties.

How do we protect your data?

The unique data of our test participants is safe with us. We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse and loss of this data. The test data is immediately anonymized during administration. The only employees who have access to the recordings are those writing the research report. Our employees are trained in handling privacy-sensitive information.

What are your rights?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access your data, request corrections, and request the deletion of your data. To make changes to or delete your data, you can contact NORM via smit.mi@outlook.com   with the subject: "Edit or delete my details". Always state in your message which details you want to change or delete.

How long do we retain your data?

Data is never retained longer than necessary and is deleted by default upon completion of your application.

Customer data is retained for 7 years by default.

Test data is stored for around 3-6 months.

Anonymized test data is retained as it is not linked to the specific test subjects.

Changes to the privacy statement

NORM reserves the right to make changes to our privacy statement at any time.
